Finished Goods Warehouse Specialist - Ozark, Missouri


 Position Purpose: 

The purpose of the Warehouse Specialist position is to play a central role in the efficient and accurate management of orders, shipping, and warehouse operations. By fulfilling orders, coordinating shipments, ensuring order accuracy, managing orders for specific customers, and handling EDI label management, the Warehouse Specialist helps maintain high standards of service and contributes to the overall success of the company. The warehouse specialist team member will work directly with warehouse personnel, department supervisors, sales team, and report to the logistics manager. 


  • Fulfill small quantity orders and coordinate FedEx shipping, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers. 
  • Collaborate with warehouse leadership in pick ticket registration, helping to prepare and organize orders for pickers and packers 
  • Assist in verifying the accuracy of orders pulled by other team members to maintain high-quality standards. 
  • Assist in repackaging products, lead labeling, cycle counting, as time allows. 
  • Manage order intake and shipments for small quantity orders, including processing orders and ensuring they are prepared for shipment accurately. 
  • Take responsibility for managing all EDI labels, a task currently handled by the sales team but transitioning to the shipping department. Ensure compliance with all EDI label requirements. 


Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required 
  • Able to obtain forklift license 
  • Must be self-motivated 
  • Ability to follow instructions 
  • Ability to work overtime when required 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role is a plus 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively 
  • Basic computer skills for order processing and label management 


Physical Requirements: 

  • Must be able to sit, climb, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift, for a 10-hour shift 
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. alone and up to 90 lbs. with assistance throughout a 10-hour shift 
  • Manual dexterity to sufficiently use a computer keyboard 
  • Good vision to detect potential quality issues on products
