Marketing Manager - Ozark, Missouri

Position Purpose: 

Responsible for managing the day-to-day of the advertising, media, consumer promotions & activation, shows, catalogs, social media, shooting sports, channel marketing and CRM/Database initiatives for Fiocchi of America and Baschieri & Pellagri brands. This position reports to the Director of Marketing. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manages the annual brand planning process to identify the objectives, strategies & tactics including:
    • Advertising 
    • Media 
    • Consumer Promotions 
    • Consumer Activation 
    • Shows/Events 
    • Catalogs 
    • Social Media 
    • Channel Marketing 
    • CRM/Database 
  •  Responsible for the development, execution, and measurement of tactical marketing plans. 
  • Accountable for managing the appropriate marketing budget as well as reporting on qualitative and quantitative results on a monthly/quarterly basis. 
  • Works with the media agency to manage creative development, media planning, and DTC outreach/promotions. 
  • Works with the Fiocchi Sales team to ensure the execution of sales events, development of sales collateral, managing MDF distribution, in-store marketing/POP development, and coordinating co-op marketing opportunities. 
  • Responsible for developing content to support social media activities; this includes day-to-day management of all Fiocchi and B&P social media properties and responding to consumer inquiries. 
  • Manages team of sponsored, competitive shooters, pro-staff and clay shooting sponsorships; this includes day-to-day interaction, securing ammunition for clay shooting events and event planning & execution. 
  • Owns the yearly catalog development, working with outside agency on pagination and initial page layouts, developing budget, working with printer (press checks) and storage/distribution strategy for sales. 
  • Responsible for show and event management; this includes securing booth/display locations, coordinating logistical delivery of show/event assets, event staffing plans, and creative execution of promotional marketing activities. 
  • Manages and develops advancement strategy for internal consumer marketing databases; this includes DTC email communications, list management, and list growth strategy development and execution. 
  • Travel – this position requires the ability to travel for work purposes - estimate a minimum of 50% of time spent out of the office 

Job Requirements: 

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration – Marketing preferred. 

Experience: 

  • At least 3 years marketing experience within a Consumer Goods Company focused on marketing consumer brand experiences. 

Knowledge/Skills: 

  • Experience with creative development process and program execution. 
  • Highly organized and very strong, proven project management skills 
  • Experienced in managing and directing agencies. 
  • Self-starter and able to work independently and work effectively within cross-functional teams. 
  • Sound analytical skills and acute attention to details, adept at creative thinking and problem solving. 
  • Passionate about the business opportunity and strong communication skills
